A LONG while ago I did a gradient nail art. Gradient nails are so easy to do, and really quick. I probably will polish my nails in another gradient design. :)

EOTD: Homecoming Game

Two weeks ago, my high school had its homecoming football game, and this is what my makeup looked like. Thank goodness we one that game since varsity wasn't doing so hot on their previous games:) I didn't go to homecoming though; instead I hung out with my boyfriend and played Plants vs. Zombies. Everyone should play that game.
My makeup looks pretty smokey from afar, which I loved:)

 Items Used:
ELF Mineral Eyeshadow- Sassy (Only around the lashline)
Wet N Wild Color Icon 6 Pan Palette- Pride (Both dark blue eyeshadows; on lower lashline)
Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Eyeliner- Blackest Black (Lashline and waterline)
Loreal Carbon Black Waterproof Mascara

Review: Geo Princess Mimi Bambi Apple Green Lenses

Woot! I'm getting back to blogging and my camera usb in now found! That already made my day:)

Today I bring you my review on the FAMOUS Bambi/Princess Mimi lenses by Tsubasa Masuwaka! I ordered my pair from Fobby Barbie.

Lense Information-
Brand: Geo Medical
Water content: 38% - 42%
Diameter: 15 mm
Base Curve: 8.7
Life Span: 1 year

Color/ Design 5/5-
 The starburst pattern of the lenses is beautiful. It has a black limbal ring with spokes coming out from it, then fades from an "apple" green to a golden yellow. The green doesn't appear to be an apple green shade on my brown eyes, but it looks gorgeous nontheless. You can see the color in sunlight, but it isn't as vibrant in natural lighting.

Enlargement 5/5-
These are big lenses and do make your eyes appear bigger. I am so happy these lenses didn't make me look bug-eyed, but actually dolly-like and natural.

Comfort 4.5/5-
For the most part, these are very comfy. I will fill them at random times in the day which is kind of uncomfortable, but then I won't feel them at all! Also, I have worn these for 12 hours before and they felt fine (but you shouldn't be wearing them for that long in the first place!). I have to rehydrate my eyes at least once every time I wear them. This happens around 4 hours of wear, where my eyes start to feel dry and get red.

Overall 5/5-
Everything about these lenses have made me fall in love with them, especially the color and enlargement! My friends were surprised by my lenses and loved them, too ;^^ ('Are your eyes really green or are those contacts?!' 'They look like an explosion in your eyes!' LOL) I'm glad I chose these as my first lenses.

Recommend?: YES.

I couldn't help it.
 I was nervous and excited to place my first order for these circle lenses, and I'm glad I chose Fobby Barbie. They had a special (which is still going on) to buy any Princess Mimi lenses, and get free 2-3 day shipping! All together, it only costed $17.99. I thought this was a great deal. My order only took two days to process, and 3 days to ship .I'm definitely buying from here again. :)

Review: Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile:/ My brother brought my camera usb on a trip he had and still has long to find it, so I can't export any videos or pictures for my posts. Hopefully I'll get it back soon!

Today I'll be review Maybelline's  Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Blackest Black.

Product Details:
• Oil-free formula holds highly concentrated pigments in a clear gel base
• Smudge-proof and waterproof for 24 hours
• Most intense line for lasting drama
• Safe for sensitive eyes and ophthalmologist-tested
• Contact lens safe

(according to Maybelline's website)

Price: Around $8

Consistency/Pigmentation 5/5: Its creamy, smooth, and very black. It was very easy to apply!

Performance 3.5/5: For me, this eyeliner was a bit disappointing. Only after two hours, my eyeliner at the outer corner of my eyes smudged and it had also transferred to my under eye lid area. Although I have been testing the liner in hot summer weather, I remember it still transferring and smudging in the colder months (but not as bad). After about four hours, the liner fades a little, mostly at the lash liner.
           Also, you can still smudge this eyeliner after a few minutes, but if your going to use that technique it is better to smudge right after its applied for the eyeliner doesn't smudge well if you wait. The brush that was included with it actually works, too! I've been using it for nearly 8 months without a real eyeliner brush ;^-^ (I'm cheap)
           To test the waterproof factor, I ran a a streak of three layers of liner and ran water over it. Then I rubbed it! It took less then a minute for it to start smudging, but I rubbed kind of hard so I say it is waterproof.

Pros:
♥Great pigmentation at first
♥The brush included works
♥Smooth application
♥Waterproof

Cons:
♥Doesn't live up to the claims of no smudging
♥Transfers
♥Fades

Overall: 3.5/5

Recommend?: I would not recommend this for someone with oily eyelids, like myself. If you don't that have that problem, then this should work fine! I'm a little upset that this product didn't work for me

I wish this product worked better for me! A lot of people love this product from what I've heard, so this was a let down:/ Has anyone else tried it before?

OOTD&FOTD: Summerfest!

I posted a video of my outfit when I went to see Katy Perry at Summerfest.

OUTFIT-
Shirt, shorts, watch: Kohl's
Belt: Off a dress from JCPenny
Necklace: From my mom

EYES-
ELF brightening concealer
ELF Mineral Eyeshadows in Natural, , (I think) Sassy, and Royal as eyeliner
L'oreal Carbon Black Voluminous waterproof mascara

In all honesty I don't know why someone would say she stinks at singing when its the opposite! Each song was my jam hahaa. Especially Peacock. It surprised me that she did a acoustic set also...during that she sang "Friday" by Rebecca Black. I'm telling you, see her live!

I can't help but spam her face a little here...

I'm planning on making some more videos on youtube, with posts to go along with them so stay tuned.

Don't forget to smile:),

Hello There: New Rimmel Mascara and Serum

Yesterday, I took a trip to Walmart with my mom, and hit the beauty isle. Then boom on a display I found new Rimmel products!

I know, say whhhattt???
These pictures were from the display, and you can't find them on Rimmel's website either. Anyways, there is a new volume mascara and a lash/brow serum that help to grow your lashes:)

Apparently, the volume mascara, called Volume Accelerator, has almost the same claims as its lengthening counterpart, the Lash Accelerator. Both have a lash growth complex that makes them grow, and the sleek lime green packaging. The mascara brush looks like the new Great Lash LOL mascara by Maybelline.I love how it is so shapely:)
The claims of your lashes after 30 days of using it looks far fetched though.

Then there is the Lash Accelerator Serum. It is also made with a grow-lash complex and is made to use on your lovely eyebrows and eyelashes. I am not sure how it makes your lashes and brows grow, but it says that it "supports" the "natural growth" of them. Ok, I'll take that. As long as it doesn't sting like the Wet n' Wild MegaLash Serum.

But look at the applicator a brush for brows and a cork screw applicator for lashes. Two in one.Its very innovative.

That's all for now, hope my readers have a fantastic day!

Project 10 Pan && Update

My mom recently yelled at me for having too much beauty products around the house, so now I feel like I should start that 10 Pan Project everyone is doing.

The Hit List:

Avon Clearskin Immediate Response Spot Treatment
Avon Clearskin Purifying Gel Cleanser (nearly gone, but is taking FOREVER to finish off)
Bath&Body Works: Art Stuff hand and foot cream
Claudia Stevens Eye Area Toner Cream
E.L.F. Under Eye Concealer &Highlighter (the highlighter broke though so just the concealer:])
Eskinol Papaya Facial Cleanser
Lacura Revitilizing Eye Gel
L'oreal  Bare Naturale mascara
L'oreal Ideal Balance Pore Clarifying Toner
Neutrogena Naturals Lip Balm
Tresemme Dry Shampoo
Wet n Wild H20 Proof Eye Liner in a brown color

That's actually 12 items, but some of them are hardly used and some have really little left. Each time I finish a product, I'll say what I thought about it (good, bad, repurchase, etc...)

Well I'm officially starting this on April 26th, 2011, but this will be posted a little later.

~~~~
UPDATE:
I have lost Neutrogena lipbalm, so I'm replacing it with my carmex one instead. Also, I did buy a Wet N Wild palette and a Sally Hansen Nail Growth Treatment, but I planned to get that palette awhile ago (Last time I saw it, a shadow cracked && it was 40% off!) and my nails are starting to chip since I'm finally getting off biting my nails. So fair enough, right?
Have a great week guys:)
End of the month haul~
 Hello readers:)
This is a long coming post. This haul is from April, but I lost my camera for two weeks do I coudn't upload any pictures:( Anyways, I didn't think it'd be much, but OH MY GOSH. I realized I need to control my shopping.
Maybe I should do that 10 pan project?
...nah.
Here it goes:
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle <3
E.L.F Studio Mist&Set
Manic Panic Semi-permanent dye in Hot Hot Pink
Maybelline Line Stiletto Ultimate Precision liquid liner
NYC Quick Dry nail polish in Park Ave
Sinful Colors polish in Aquamarine
Rimmel Fix and Perfect foundation primer
Rimmel Glam'Eyes Lash Flirt Mascara
Wella Charm toner in White Lady
Wet n' Wild Megalast eye liner in Dark Brown
I was soo happy that I got some of these for a nice deal. The Rimmel mascara was only 99 cents at Jewel's in s final sale bin, I used a $1 off coupon on my liquid liner, and got the nail polish (after a 50 cents off coupon) for $1.25.
Now I don't have a reason to not review things with all of these goodies (<--major procrastinator)
Has anyone else been haulin' around? I'd like to know:)
Review: Wet N Wild- Megalash Serum and Mascara
Hello:) It's time to review Wet N Wild's Megalash Serum and Mascara, so here I go.
 (See here for the product claims)
How I used the products:
  1. Layer on the Clinical Serum on my eyelashes. I put like 10 coats hahaha
  2. Let it dry and do my other makeup
  3. Curl eye lashes
  4. Coat the Clinical Mascara on my eye lashes
^^Serum Brush
I think that the serum has strengthened my lashes. Whenever I take off my makeup, my eyelashes don't come off with it as often anymore! Wooooo. Like one time, I found a very large eye lash by my nose, which scared me greatly since I didn't know where it came from. It was actually my eyelash that was grew 2 times bigger! haha.
Anyways, before trying this serum out, I used to slather on petroleum jelly on my eyelashes and in result, I grew little outer-corner eye lashes. Now those lashes are getting a tiny-weeine thicker. Which is awesometastic. The rest of my eye lashes have gotten a little longer and a little thicker. I wanted more in-yo-face-thickness, but c'mon. You can't this serum will deliver that greatness.
But OMGEE. Do NOT get this in your eyes. It burns like a mutherfudger. Trust me. This serum is a good conditioner though:)
The mascara on the other hand....
^^Mascara Brush
It is a good lengthening mascara to me. It separates my lashes nicely, so no clumps. (Unless you curl your lashes after you put the mascara on, some pieces of eye lashes might stick together.) I saw no smudging, although it is winter time in my area:) Sometimes it'll flake only a tiny bit, but as long as you don't keep touching your lashes, you won't get much flakes.
The package says that it is a lengthening mascara, so do not expect a whole lotta volume. With this mascara, you end up with a pretty, natural eyelash look, which is great to use for everyday. Also, this a non-waterproof mascara, so it comes off nice and easy with water and a facial cleaner/makeup remover.
However, I have a love&hate relationship with this mascara. Sometimes it wants to be a mean bean and not hold a curl! This might be because of the serum I use beforehand, or the mascara itself. To get a curl, I make sure the serum is fully dry then add about two coats to each eye. I noticed that the more you put on, the more the curl gets, well, uncurled. By the end of this process, I get semi-curled lashes. >.<
Oh and you may get clumps of mascara on the brush. I was to lazy to wipe off the excess mascara and it felt wasteful to do so, but please do. The brush can do its job sooo much better after. Hahahahah
~~~~~
Megalash Clinical serum: 3.75/5
        If it didn't burn so badly, I'd like it even more. It does fortify and condition your eye lashes (as it claims) and you even receive some a bit more length and thickness. Maybe if I continue with this product, my eyelashes will become even thicker because I think my lashes only got slightly fuller.

Megalash Clinical Mascara: 3.5/5
        This mascara, joined with the serum, has conditioned my eye lashes, to me. You don't get extra-long looking lashes, but it isn't bad for a daily use. I truly wished it would hold a curl better though!

Recommend?
         I would recommend the serum to someone. It does a good job keeping your lashes in shape, and a cheap alternative to many eyelash serums:)
         I would maybe recommend the mascara to someone.  This lengthening&conditioning mascara is not amazing, but pretty good.

***After about 3 or so months of having this mascara, today the stopper in the tube came off. I pushed it back into the tube when this happened. Just wanted to warn you guys if the packaging goes funking on anyone.

Hopefully this review was helpful! Has anyone else tried this yet? Did it meet your expectations? Share please!:)

Preview: Wet n Wild Megalash Clinical Serum and Mascara!

Hey all:) This is going to be my first preview/partial review/experiment here so uhmm, bare with me. Hahaha

All of you makeup lovers have probably heard and seen all of the new drugstore beauty products right? The brand I have got my eyes on is Wet n Wild: they have new Coloricon palettes, nail polishes, mascara goodies, eyeliners, and probably even more.

Its mind bottling.
On my last post I talked about how I picked up some makeup including their new Megalash Clinical Serum and Mascara!

Some pictures:

Claims for Clinical Serum: P-Charged+ complex provides longer, thicker, fuller-looking lashes in just 4 week!
  • Improves lash health: lashes appear fortified, nourished, and strengthened
  • Moisturizing complex for lash conditioning: Blugarian rose water, chamomile extract, pro-vitamin B5, and soy protien
Claims for Mascara: Research shows 87% of women saw longer, thicker,  fuller lashes instantly
  • Proprietary conditioning and activation complex: moroccan argan oil conditions, nourishes and adds shine
  • Vitamins E, C, and B-complex, soy protein, and arginine help stimulate recovery for stronger lashes
Interesting claims, eh?

 Oh, and I got this starter kit for $6.99 at my Jewel Osco. According to nouveaucheap.blogspot.com, the serum costs $6.99 and the mascara costs $4.99. Hmmm....so I got a good deal:D

More updates on this later:)
