Review: Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile:/ My brother brought my camera usb on a trip he had and still has long to find it, so I can't export any videos or pictures for my posts. Hopefully I'll get it back soon!

Today I'll be review Maybelline's  Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Blackest Black.

Product Details:
• Oil-free formula holds highly concentrated pigments in a clear gel base
• Smudge-proof and waterproof for 24 hours
• Most intense line for lasting drama
• Safe for sensitive eyes and ophthalmologist-tested
• Contact lens safe

(according to Maybelline's website)

Price: Around $8

Consistency/Pigmentation 5/5: Its creamy, smooth, and very black. It was very easy to apply!

Performance 3.5/5: For me, this eyeliner was a bit disappointing. Only after two hours, my eyeliner at the outer corner of my eyes smudged and it had also transferred to my under eye lid area. Although I have been testing the liner in hot summer weather, I remember it still transferring and smudging in the colder months (but not as bad). After about four hours, the liner fades a little, mostly at the lash liner.
Also, you can still smudge this eyeliner after a few minutes, but if your going to use that technique it is better to smudge right after its applied for the eyeliner doesn't smudge well if you wait. The brush that was included with it actually works, too! I've been using it for nearly 8 months without a real eyeliner brush ;^-^ (I'm cheap)
To test the waterproof factor, I ran a a streak of three layers of liner and ran water over it. Then I rubbed it! It took less then a minute for it to start smudging, but I rubbed kind of hard so I say it is waterproof.

Pros:
♥Great pigmentation at first
♥The brush included works
♥Smooth application
♥Waterproof

Cons:
♥Doesn't live up to the claims of no smudging
♥Transfers
♥Fades

Overall: 3.5/5

Recommend?: I would not recommend this for someone with oily eyelids, like myself. If you don't that have that problem, then this should work fine! I'm a little upset that this product didn't work for me

I wish this product worked better for me! A lot of people love this product from what I've heard, so this was a let down:/ Has anyone else tried it before?
